Gitgit Waterfall

Gitgit waterfall is located in the plateau area with the height about 35 meters and it is surrounded by tropical tree and emits the constantly natural water debit during the year. Waterfall voice around the charming nature was amazing and it was the separate attraction which can be enjoyed by each visitor who comes to visit.

There are some plantations protecting the rain forest around the waterfall and in this place we often met the wild monkey to get the water from this waterfall.

Uluwatu Rock Temple

Bargaining in Kumbasari Market

Shops at Kumbasari Market open at 07.00-17.00, but some may offer their goods until late night depending on the number of visitors. Special for merchants of vegetables, fruit, young coconut leafs and some others are sold from open cars, thronging the parking lot from night until dawn.

Kumbasari Market is not only visited by the local people of Bali, but also by domestic and foreign visitors. They usually look for art articles, or just browse the market which has become a daily activity for the Balinese.

Peoples of Tenganan 'Bali Aga'

As an ancient village, Tenganan Pegeringsingan is identical with religious activities. Many temple festivals performed in this village that attract visitors to come. The most famous one is "Mekare-kare" or "Perang Pandan". This is a ceremonial fight or war using thorny pandanous leaves as the weapon. This festival usually takes place in relation to the celebration of Sasih Kelima or the fifth Balinese month.
